Stopped in her Tracks

Jenny was out for an evening-run in the country. The sun was just setting over the horizon when she became aware of a strange sight in the sky, around 300 yards away. There appeared to be three objects hovering close to the ground.

She stopped dead, mouth agape, just watching as they floated, still and silent. They objects stayed there for about two or three minutes before moving off slowly, disappearing over the tree-line at the other side of the field.

These objects were not like any aircraft she had seen before; they were about 50ft wide, metallic, and circular in shape. And they didn’t make any sound whatsoever, even as they moved. Jenny thought that, what she was seeing, was not of this world. There was just something unnatural and ominous about the way they behaved.
