Once inside they try to get their bearings and maintain their purpose. Sophia grabs the lamp, and swings it around, to look for clues. There is a thudding from the staircase. David leaps at the Chapel door, they have just come through, and slams it shut. The Jangoweed are on to them and have come up the narrow staircase to get them, now that they are trapped at a dead end. The creatures are just outside and they are banging at the door and trying to force it open. David uses all his weight and strength to keep the door shut, and keep the Jangoweed out of the small Chapel.
