Sitting in the living-room resting, Anna sees a movement out of the corner of her eye. The little girl appears from behind a sofa. She is all sweet and nice and smiling with joy. Her eyes are inviting.
They laugh they dance. Christmas becomes a joyful family affair.
Anna is standing and holding Lucy is a tight hug. She spins the wee girl round and round in her arms. The grip of the girl gets tighter … and tighter.
