Anna gets in her car, to drive into the village, in order to try and get someone’s attention. As she speeds downhill on the snowy road near to the house she sees the little girl with the sled, she met earlier, standing right in front of her path. She swerves to avoid her and swings the car right off the road into a ditch. Stuck fast she cannot drive the car out.
